We finally made St Patty's day crafts this morning.   Its been a fun St Patty's day.  Kite flying was such a hit yesterday that they made shamrock kites.  Maggie and Josh's idea.  They actually worked!

AT the duplex Maggie, Josh and Emma would put on plays.  So I said someday I will build them a stage.  8 months later I did.   


I was out in the garage and I saw it.   The stuff to make a stage.  Our white cupboard broke in the move.  We for some reason never got rid of it.  Building things is not a strong point with me.  I laughed at myself pulling out all the items for it.  


The first thing I felt was it needed to be sturdy.   I figured it out and I  used over a 100 nails.  Yes, that is a little overboard but it was sturdy.  Dave sat on it when he came home.  It held.  I found curtains. they made backgrounds.  So it is still very rustic but for the items I had it looks just fine for who the crowd is going to play on it.   Some times they have a blanket on it. 


Ok I went a little over board but they have had a fun time.  Isn't that the point!  So here it is.

  

The Leprechauns struck again.  Leaving behind gold nuggets and their green footprints.   


We forgot to do our Shamrock  decorations this year. 


 But we were having such a good time flying kites and playing in the circle with friends.  Did I mention that I love living on a circle.  It seems to be a magical circle.  Everyone has learned to ride a bike.  We had 10 kids playing four square, bikes, side walk chalk fun times!  

  

It has been an interesting month to say the least.  I realized that I haven't posted in a month.  Not like me.  so here it goes.    

Next week,  I will have  reached 2 months of exercising 3-4 days a week depending  on when the other ladies in our group can do it.  (I was sad when they almost canceled it)   *It has been great for Josh  and I.   We drop Maggie off and head to the church.   He has friends to play with and sometimes does the video with us. 

We have a variety of videos to choose from.  My favorite is Zumba.   Josh loves Tae  Bo.  (Billy boxing as he calls it.)

 I have seen results from it.( Not to mention I am starting to firm up)  I have more energy then when I walked everywhere.  I hated to exercise just because I never felt well after it.  I think I just needed to find the right way and I have.   Now to keep up with it.

This year is the first year i have been forgetting to make the  crafts for all the different Holidays.  Not quite sure why.  Maggie  reminded me that we hadn't made the  groundhog day hats and Chinese New year crafts.   Thanks Maggie.  I am glad she likes to do it.
